The Polk County Highway Department has announced its construction projects for this year.
They include, roughly from west to east:
- Repairs to County Highway 17 from East Grand Forks to County Highway 20.
- Rumble stripes on County Highway 11 from Crookston to east county line.
- Repairs to County Road 233 in Crookston.
- Widening pavement on County Highway 34 from County Highway 36 to Erskine.
- Repairs to County Highway 41 from County Highway 34 to U.S. Highway 59 and widening pavement from Highway 59 to McIntosh.
- Reconstruction of County Highway 1 in Fosston and repairs from there to east county line.
- Widening pavement on County Highway 3 from County Highway 6 north of Fosston to County Highway 29.
- Widening pavement on County Highway 6 from Fosston to south county line.
- Repairs to County Highway 30 from Fosston to 4.5 miles north.
