It looks like Polk County Sheriff's deputies broke up a theft ring early Tuesday after responding to a report of property being stolen from a vehicle in Fertile, Minn.
According to a news release, deputies responded to a 3:42 a.m. Tuesday call in Fertile. After some investigating, they found stolen property connected to "numerous vehicle and garage break-ins in Grand Forks, Crookston and Fertile," including two stolen vehicles and a firearm.
A man and two juvenile males were arrested in connection with the investigation. No other information was released Tuesday by the sheriff's office in Crookston, including the estimated value of the stolen property, where it was found and where it came from or the identities of the three people arrested.
Police in Grand Forks and Crookston are assisting in the investigation.
