Grand Forks police still are searching for a suspect in a stabbing that occurred early Sunday morning at a business parking lot in north Grand Forks.
The suspect is described as a 5-foot-10-inch, 200-pound Hispanic or American Indian male. He was said to be driving a dark, possibly blue, Mercury Mountaineer or Ford Explorer, according to the Grand Forks Police Department.
A 28-year-old Grand Forks man was taken to Altru Hospital with a stab wound after the incident.
Grand Forks police said the fight started in the parking lot of the El Roco nightclub. It was broken up but started up again in a different parking lot in the 1100 block of North Washington Street, near Darcy's Café.
Police learned of the incident when they were called to the Altru's emergency room about 2:15 a.m.
