Police investigate report of gunshot in Barnesville

BARNESVILLE, Minn.-Police here are investigating a report of a possible gunshot fired Sunday evening.

A person told police that a gunshot was fired around 6 p.m. Sunday in the southeast part of town, Officer Mark Pearson said.

“No one was hurt,” he said. “No one else heard or saw anything.”

No shell casings were found.

“It’s being investigated,” Pearson said, adding no other information was immediately available.
