Grand Forks police have identified a man they found in the Bringewatt Park parking lot early Wednesday morning, according to a press release.

Officers found Grand Forks resident Sidney Bina, 75, during a routine patrol of the park at 2205 24th Ave. S. shortly after 1 a.m., the release said.

At this time, police say the injury to Bina appears to be self-inflicted, and they do not believe there is a threat to the public.
