Several Grand Forks participants placed at the All-American tae kwon do tournament Oct. 28 in Fargo.

First-place finishers were Tim Rosencrans and Jessica Rosencrans (two events). Second-place finishers were Ben Danielson (two events), Marlys Fisher, Alexis Gordon and Tina Danielson. Third-place finishers were Kyle Detke, Fisher (two events) and Ben Danielson.

win seven divisions

Grand Forks players won championships in seven divisions at the Fargo Coca-Cola Classic, which was held on Nov. 3-5.

-- Philip Yunker, boys age 16 singles.

-- Yunker and Moorhead's Tyler Hjalmquist, boys 16 doubles.

-- Callie Ronkowski, girls 16 singles.

-- Ronkowski and Fargo's Andrea Rognlien, girls 16 doubles.

-- Ryan Hoverson, boys 12 singles.

-- Hoverson and Gregory Wischer, boys 12 doubles.

-- Madison Hoveland, girls 12 singles.
