Pictures released of suspect in alleged armed robbery at Hitterdal bank

UPDATE: Hitterdal, MN (WDAY TV) - The Clay County Sheriff's Office released pictures this afternoon of the suspect in the alleged armed robbery in Hitterdal this morning.

UPDATE: Hitterdal, MN (WDAY TV) – The Clay County Sheriff’s Office released pictures this afternoon of the suspect in the alleged armed robbery in Hitterdal this morning.

Officials say that at approximately 11:40 a.m. deputies were dispatched to 100 Front Street East in Hitterdal for a report of a robbery at the State Bank of Lake Park Hitterdal Branch.

Officials say a white male with a gun entered the bank and demanded money. The male made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the bank. Officials describe the suspect as a white male, approximately 6’2” and slender in size. The suspect was wearing blue jeans and a dark colored jacket, he was wearing a dark colored face mask at the time of the robbery.

The lone male left in an unknown direction of travel, possibly in a dark colored passenger car.

Officials released pictures of the suspect entering and leaving the bank and of the possible vehicle that was in the area around the time of the robbery.

Hitterdal, MN – Officials are responding to a report of an armed bank robbery in the 100 block of Front Street in Hitterdal. The State Bank of Lake Park is located at that address.

Officials are setting up a perimeter and are looking for a suspect. Officials from multiple counties are assisting in the search for the suspect.
