The North Dakota Alpha Chapter of the Pi Beta Phi Fraternity for women is celebrating 90 years at UND. The House Corporation annual meeting will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Chapter House, 409 Cambridge St., and all alumnae of Pi Beta Phi are welcome.

The National Fraternity granted a charter on Oct. 7, 1921, installing the first 23 members of the North Dakota Alpha Chapter of Pi Beta Phi. The Chapter has grown and continues to provide a home for members attending UND while supporting local and national philanthropies, a news release said.

The Chapter House was built in 1928 and is on the register of National Historic Places. The Tudor Revival structure is maintained and sustained by the local House Corporation whose members are alumnae of Pi Beta Phi.
