DEVILS LAKE - The victim of a one-vehicle crash Saturday in Ramsey County has been identified as Darell Sainsbury, 28, of Devils Lake.
Sainsbury was driving a 2001 Ford F150 pickup north on Ramsey County Road 3 about 13 miles northeast of Devils Lake just before 8 a.m. Saturday when he drifted into the east ditch before trying to correct. He lost control, crossed the road and rolled in the west ditch, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
Sainsbury, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the truck and died at the scene, the Highway Patrol reported. There were no other occupants in the truck.
The Ramsey County Sheriff's Office and the Devils Lake Rural Fire Department responded to the scene.
