DOWNER, Minn. - A two-vehicle accident north of here Monday night left one person with non-life threatening injuries.
David C. Velazquez, 37, of Park Rapids was driving west on Clay County Road 71 when he failed to yield for a stop sign at the intersection of Highway 9 at 8:25 p.m., according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Valezquez's vehicle, a 1995 Subaru Legacy, broadsided a 2007 Chevy pickup driven by Chad D. Sogge, 37, of Barnesville.
Both vehicles landed in a field and Valezquez's vehicle may have rolled, the state patrol said.
He suffered non-life threatening injuries, while Sogge didn't appear to have injuries,
