Palma C. Stromsodt, 93, Grand Forks, died Tuesday, December 25, 2007 in 4000 Valley Square - Woodside Village.

Palma Cenora Stromsodt was born To Petter and Christina (Lommen) Stromsodt on September 4, 1914 in Rye Township of Grand Forks County. She attended grade school at Rye #25. She later graduated from Aaker's Business College. Palma was employed by Cooper Insurance Agency in Grand Forks and later by Vaaler Insurance in Grand Forks until she retired in her 70's. She enjoyed sewing and reading. Palma was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Grand Forks.

Palma is survived by nieces and nephews, Dorla (Harvey) Hanson, Lenis (Vonna) Stromsodt, Terry (Ronda) Stromsodt, James (Ila) Corcoran, Marian Strom, Harriet (Richard) Hannah, Larry Corcoran, Darlene Miller, Charles Stromsodt, Sherman (Alice) Stromsodt, Leroy Stromsodt, Wayne Stromsodt. She is preceded in death by her parents, 8 brothers and 3 sisters, and nephews, Raymond Corcoran, Jr., Harold Corcoran, Robert Stromsodt, and Gary Stromsodt; and a niece, Bonnie Jean Gunderson.

Services: 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2007 in Amundson Funeral Home, 2975 S. 42nd St., Grand Forks.

Visitation: One hour prior to the service in the funeral home.

Interment: Memorial Park Cemetery, Grand Forks.

Memorials: Are preferred to Altru Hospice or St. Mark's Lutheran Church
