Our Savior's church, located at 1515 Fifth Ave. in East Grand Forks has served the greater Grand Forks area since 1947 as it was established in cooperation with United Lutheran of Grand Forks. Members of United formed the nucleus of the first church numbering 46 at the first formal worship service held in the V. F.W. hall at 311 DeMers Ave. Today, Our Savior's membership includes 1,677 baptized members.

Today, Our Savior's is served by Senior Pastor, Ronald Nichols and a full-time Director of Youth and Family, Chris Leach. The Associate Pastor's position is currently vacant as we continue to eagerly search for a qualified candidate. Our Senior Choir is directed by Jeff Johnson.

Over the years Our Savior's has served God's people both locally and globally. Our Mission Statement reads: "A Community Involved Church Pursuing a World-Wide Mission." Current projects include support to the Northland Rescue Mission, Christmas baskets for the needy, support for the Food Shelf and others. Our facilities are frequently used to support our public schools for testing and in case of evacuation emergency. Because of our superb acoustics and large sanctuary, concerts are held here with groups such as the University of North Dakota Choir, the University of St. Cloud choir, In Harmony Against Hunger and other choral groups.

Recently efforts have been made to update our facilities to better support our growing needs. Our sanctuary has been re-carpeted along with a refurbishing of our Youth Room with paint and carpet. A new "Chapel Lounge" has been established to accommodate small groups, weddings and funerals.

Today, Our Savior's is excited to work together with our recently called Senior Pastor and look forward to welcoming a new Associate Pastor in the near future. We realize that new leadership brings new ways to better serve the members of Our Savior's as well as reaching out to others with the love of God in Christ Jesus.
