BISMARCK - One of two women who escaped from the North Dakota State Hospital in Jamestown, N.D., has been found in Bismarck.

Natonie Ann Decoteau, 33, was taken into custody around 8:45 a.m. Saturday by Bismarck police, the North Dakota Highway Patrol said.

Valinda Belinda Jean Tyndall, 28, is believed to still be in the Bismarck area.

Tyndall and Decoteau escaped Thursday night from a fenced outdoor enclosure at a North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation-funded addiction treatment unit. They were later spotted at the Dakota Square Mall in Minot.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is asking assistance in finding Tyndall, who is described as a Native American female, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 140 pounds, with pink/blonde hair and brown eyes. She has a star on the back of her neck, a skull in headdress on her left wrist and a right shoulder tattoo that says "Marley." Tyndall is under the supervision of the North Dakota Parole and Probation and is considered an absconded probationer. She is currently on probation for an escape that occurred in 2014.
