THIEF RIVER FALLS -- A 17-year-old male died Sunday after a one-vehicle rollover one-quarter mile south of the city limits.

Michael D. Holmer, a senior at Lincoln High School in Thief River Falls, was southbound on U.S. Highway 59 when the 1987 Toyota pickup he was driving rolled. According to the Minnesota State Highway Patrol, Holmer was not wearing his seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle.

The accident happened about 7 p.m. Sunday.
