The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UND will hold an open house April 30 to allow area adults 50 and older to learn more about summer programs.
The event will be held 4 to 5:30 p.m. at the Grand Forks Senior Center, 620 Fourth Ave. S.
The summer semester begins May 29, with courses on writing, oil in North Dakota, politics and the media, cultural diversity, gardening and several other topics. There also will be lectures on health care reform and brain basics, as well as three-day trips to Itasca State Park, Fort Totten Little Theater and Folklorama in Winnipeg.
