Officials to review flood prep in Devils Lake, Fargo

Sen. John Hoeven, R-N.D., and Brigadier General Michael Walsh, commander of the Mississippi Valley Division, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, will visit Devils Lake today and Fargo on Thursday to review the progress of flood preparation efforts in both communities, according to a news release. Rep. Rick Berg, R-N.D., will also participate in the Fargo meeting.

At 1:30 Wednesday afternoon in Devils Lake, the officials will participate in the North Dakota State Flood Coordination Center Meeting in the Ramsey County Courthouse. At 8 a.m. Thursday, the group will attend a flood preparedness meeting in Fargo City Hall.
