DICKINSON, N.D. - A Dickinson resident was surprised to find a 57-year-old man laying in a recliner in his home on Bonnie Street at about 10 p.m. Sunday, according to the Dickinson Police Department.
Rodney Iverson, Dickinson, had been wandering around Carol's Trailer Court, said Sgt. Dave Wilkie.
"They received numerous calls reporting an intoxicated male trying to enter residences," Wilkie said. "When they confronted him, he said he was asking for a place to stay."
The resident who discovered Iverson in his home kicked him out, Wilkie said. Police later found Iverson walking down the street, and they arrested him for trespassing, Wilkie said.
Stark County Judge Zane Anderson allowed Iverson to be released from the Southwest Multi County Correction Center on his personal recognizance.

Iverson is not allowed to consume alcohol or be on the premises of establishments that sell alcohol.
"Obviously, Mr. Iverson, if you're found to be consuming alcohol, you'll be incarcerated," Anderson said at a Monday hearing.
Phone numbers for Iverson and the victim were not listed.
