ROCHESTER, Minn. - A Northwest Airlines flight that left Minneapolis on Friday afternoon bound for St. Louis was diverted to Rochester International Airport after an indicator light came on in the cockpit.
Flight 1465 to St. Louis was in the air for only a few minutes Friday after taking off from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport when a light came on indicating a high engine temperature reading, Northwest spokesman Darren Shannon said.
The two-engine DC-9 landed safely at the airport in Rochester at 4:41 p.m. The 106 passengers and five crew members did not report any injuries, Shannon said.
The flight took off again and was expected to land in St. Louis later Friday.
