NORTHWOOD, N.D. -- Nearly three years after a tornado wrecked its century-old building, Ebenezer Free Lutheran Church will dedicate its new building at 1 p.m. Sunday. The Rev. Elden Nelson, president of the Association of Free Lutheran Congregations in Minneapolis, will speak; there will be special music and refreshments. The public is invited.

Jore family to sing in Minnesota churches

Phil and C'Dale Jore and family, from Williston, N.D., will appear in concert at several area churches: 7 p.m. today in the Church of Christ, Crookston; 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the Baptist church, Fosston, Minn.; and 6:15 p.m. Sunday in Woodland Bible Church, Warroad, Minn. The family plays a variety of instruments and is recording its seventh album.

Nashville group to perform concert

UND pastors set 'Theology for Lunch'

GF church sets simulcast video

GRAND FORKS -- Bethel Lutheran Brethren Church, 1616 17th St. S., will hold a live simulcast presentation of well-known Bible teacher Beth Moore.

She will be speaking on "So Long, Insecurity" from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. today in the church. Cost is $15. Everyone is welcome.

At 6 p.m. May 2, the church will host a simulcast of the debate between noted atheist and journalist Christopher Hitches and Christian apologist William Lane Craig. It's free.
