Northwood, N.D., will conduct a Community Volunteer Clean-up Day on Saturday and a Volunteer Rebuild Weekend on Oct. 19-21.
Volunteers, who must be 18 or older, should call the Northwood Volunteer Center at (800) 950-2901 to register in advance. All volunteers must pre-register.
apuFree pizza will be available to volunteers from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday in the Northwood Co-Op Oil Co. and Convenience Store. The pizza is being provided by Hot Stuff Foods, on behalf of Bart's Cafe, Northwood.
The Volunteer Rebuild Weekend will focus on helping Northwood residents to make repairs on their property. The Volunteer Center is seeking skilled volunteers, such as carpenters and roofers, to lead teams of volunteers for that project.
