The North Dakota Department of Transportation has issued a travel alert in the Grand Forks and Devils Lake areas.

Visibility is low because of blowing snow. Areas of scattered snow drifts and scattered ice and slush is making travel potentially hazardous as well.

A travel alert means motorists can still travel in the areas but should keep an eye out for rapidly changing conditions.
