The North Dakota Department of Transportation and Highway Patrol have lifted a no travel advisory for areas east of Bismarck but are still urging travelers facing severe winter weather to use caution.
A travel alert is in effect for Grand Forks, Devils Lake, Bismarck, Jamestown, Valley City, Minot and surrounding areas. Motorists should slow down and drive according to conditions in areas with snow drifts on roadways and low visibility.
Drivers are urged to check road conditions and call 511 or visit www.dot.nd.gov for information.
