No one was injured when a van caught fire Tuesday evening in Columbia Heights trailer court in Grand Forks.
Grand Forks Fire Department Battalion Chief Rick Aamot said a 1996 Ford Aerostar caught fire in the driveway at 2559 Lawndale Circle when a man tried to start it. The van was engulfed in flames when the fire department responded at about 5:30 p.m., but Aamot said the fire was extinguished within minutes.
None of the surrounding buildings were damaged by the fire, Aamot said.
