The city of East Grand Forks will not be able to issue building permits for two days later this month.

An upgrade to necessary software will occur on June 24 and 27 and will prevent the city's building inspections office from issuing permits, according to a news release. The software update is expected to be complete on June 28.

City staff requests those who may need permits near that time period plan accordingly.
