Three roads will close Tuesday in the Near Southside Neighborhood as Grand Forks city workers preserve the granitoid on the streets.
The project is expected to take four to six weeks to complete, weather permitting, according to a city news release.
The sections that will be closed are:
• Cottonwood Street from Second Avenue South to Third Avenue South.
• Second Avenue South from the alley west of Walnut Street to Chestnut Street.

• Third Avenue South from the alley west of Cottonwood Street to Cottonwood Street.
Detour signs will be posted.
