FARGO -- Sophomore Lee Vandal, who was emerging as a valuable contributor to the North Dakota State backfield, was suspended from the team indefinitely.
Head coach Craig Bohl cited a violation of team rules, in a statement released by the athletic department this afternoon.
Vandal, a 6-foot, 237-pound fullback, played in all five games and caught five passes for 56 yards. He was the top backup to starter Tyler Jangula.
As a freshman, Vandal played in 10 games and caught four passes for 10 yards.
