Authorities have identified a person killed in a rollover near Cando, N.D., Thursday.
The North Dakota Highway Patrol identified the driver of the vehicle, Hailey Hendrickson, 20, of Cando, as the person who died.
According to the NDHP, Hendrickson was driving a 2006 Chevy Silverado north on 70th Ave. NE near the junction of 79th St. NE at approximately 12:15 a.m., when she failed to maintain control of the vehicle on the wet gravel road. The Silverado entered the east ditch and rolled, coming to rest on its roof in a slough.
Hendrickson and her three passengers were transported to Towner County Medical Center in Cando. Colbi Charette, 18, of York, N.D., Dylan McGrath, 19, of Cando, and Devin McGrath, 21, of Cando, were all treated and released for minor injuries. Hendrickson was later pronounced deceased, according to the NDHP report.
Towner County Ambulance, the Towner County Sheriff's Office, Towner County Ambulance and Cando Fire assisted at the scene.
