The North Dakota School for the Deaf has expanded its name to the North Dakota School for the Deaf/Resource Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
The change, announced Thursday, is based on the recommendation of the North Dakota School for the Deaf Future Services Plan.
As a division of the Department of Public Instruction, NDSD/RCDHH develops, coordinates and maintains comprehensive services for North Dakota residents who are deaf or hard of hearing. Services include assessment, consultation, evaluation, instruction and technology resources.
