A North Dakota woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries Sunday evening in a three-vehicle accident on Interstate 94 near Fergus Falls, Minn.
Victory Reincke, 20, whose residence was not given, was a passenger in a vehicle operated by Adam Nygard, 23, Grand Forks, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Nygard’s 2005 Honda Civic was one of three vehicles traveling in the same direction on I-94 at about 9 p.m. Sunday, when Nygard and Zara Peterson, 20, Brooklyn Center, Minn., who was driving a 2013 Honda Civic, slowed as a result of another accident at the same location, according to the State Patrol.
As they slowed, Nygard’s vehicle was struck in the rear by a 2014 Jeep Cherokee operated by Geoffrey Nichols, 22, Rochester, Minn., pushing Nygard’s Civic into the rear of Peterson’s 2013 Civic, according to the report. All three vehicles reportedly were slowing at the time of the crash.
The accident occurred in Grant County, between Fergus Falls and Alexandria, Minn.
