North Dakota residents can now take the General Educational Development, or GED, test via computer, the North Dakota Department of Public Instruction announced Tuesday.
Registration is already available, and testing will begin Wednesday.
The new computer-based GED test will feature the same content as the paper versions of the test, and also will offer other benefits, including flexible testing appointments, instant scores and easier registration.
The computerized testing will initially be offered at Sheyenne Valley Area Career and Technical Center in Valley City and Williston State College in Williston. The DPI said testing sites will eventually be expanded.
