The last Red River bridge closed because of flooding north of Grand Forks could reopen early next week.
The N.D. Highway 66 Bridge over the Red River east of Drayton, N.D., could reopen as early as Monday afternoon, after an inspection by the North Dakota Department of Transportation.
"We have inspected the highway, but due to the reports of damage to the substructure of the bridge, we need to inspect the bridge from the water," Les Noehr, NDDOT Grand Forks District engineer, said today.
Pembina County officials reopened County Road 55 between County Road 2 and N.D. Highway 18 at 4 p.m. today, according to county Emergency Manager Jill Pedersen.
Pembina County 55 remains closed between N.D. Highway 18 and I-29 until further notice.

N.D. Highway 5 was reopened Thursday between I-29 and the Red River. The road leads to Hallock, Minn.
