N.D. higher ed board wants applicants

The North Dakota State Board of Higher Education is now accepting applications for two board positions. The spots will be vacated by current board President Kirsten Diederich and board member Duaine Espegard in June.

The North Dakota State Board of Higher Education is now accepting applications for two board positions. The spots will be vacated by current board President Kirsten Diederich and board member Duaine Espegard in June.

The board is the governing body of the state’s 11 public colleges and is composed of seven members, all of whom serve four-year terms. A nominating committee will meet in April to elect three nominees for each open position.

Applications can be found at  dpi.state.nd.us  or by calling (701) 328-4572 and should include a resume and references. All applications must be submitted by 5 p.m., March 10.
