BISMARCK -- The October issue of Delta Sky magazine features a 32-page section on North Dakota.
Gov. John Hoeven and Commerce Commissioner Shane Goettle, along with Delta Sky officials, will unveil it this week in Bismarck.
The event is set for 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hawktree Golf Course Clubhouse, 3400 Burnt Creek Loop.
QuitNet helps
Nearly 3,800 people visited the state Health Department's Web-based tobacco cessation service in its first six months.

Since February, about 670 members have signed on at the QuitNet website, www.nd.quitnet.com , said Michelle Walker, the department's tobacco cessation director.
Services include access to online professional cessation counselors, assistance in designing a personal quit plan and support from other quitters. Free nicotine patches, gum or lozenges are available.

Legislative week
- The Workforce Committee meets at 9 a.m. Monday in the Idea Lab of the Ina Mae Rude Entrepreneur Center at UND.
The committee will discuss a concurrent resolution for a constitutional amendment to allow for foundation aid stabilization funding of academic and career and technical education scholarships.
Lawmakers will discuss bill drafts on the creation of technology-based economic development programs, a technology impact zone program and a grant program for university entrepreneurs.
The creation of an electronic portfolio pilot program and modifications to the new jobs training program, TrainND and Project Intern are also on the agenda.

- The Long-Term Care Committee meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday in the Roughrider Room in the state Capitol.
Lawmakers will hear recommendations for the rate-setting structure for developmental disabilities and home and community-based service providers.
They will also hear about the assisted-living facility rent subsidy pilot project.
- The Agriculture Committee meets at 9 a.m. Wednesday and Thursday in the Capitol's Roughrider Room.
The committee will review bill drafts relating to the rewrite of North Dakota Century Code provisions governing the State Seed Department. Lawmakers will also hear a presentation by the Advisory Committee on Sustainable Agriculture.
- The Government Services Committee meets at 9 a.m. Thursday in the Harvest Room in the Capitol. The committee will discuss the classified state employee compensation system study and elected officials' salaries.
- Legislative Management meets at 8 a.m. Thursday in the Prairie Room in the Capitol. Lawmakers will discuss the estimated fiscal impact of the initiated measure that would prohibit fee hunting of captive exotic and native game animals.
- The Legislative Audit and Fiscal Review Committee meets at 9 a.m. Friday in the Capitol's Roughrider Room.
