The Myra Foundation has awarded more than $412,000 in grants to 52 local organizations during 2016. Organizations receiving funds include:
Altru Health Foundation, ArtWise, Boy Scouts of America, Circle of Friends Humane Society, Community Violence Intervention Center, Development Homes Inc., Emerado Cemetery Fund, Emerado Public School and PTO, Emerado Volunteer Fire Department.
And also: Empire Arts Center, Grand Cities Children's Choir, Grand Forks Chorales Inc., Grand Forks County Historical Society, Grand Forks Curling Club, Grand Forks Parks and Recreation Foundation, Grand Forks Public Schools and Renaissance Program. Grand Forks Senior Center, Greater Grand Forks Community Service and Restitution Program, Community Theater and Symphony Orchestra, Habitat for Humanity, Larimore Public Schools, LISTEN Center, Lutheran Social Services of North Dakota Day Report Program and DIVERT Program, Manvel Park Board and Public School.
And also: Midway Public School, Muddy Waters Clay Center Inc., North Dakota State University Extension Service and Extension Service Gardening Saturday, North Dakota Ballet Company, North Dakota Museum of Art, Northern Valley Youth Orchestras, Northlands Rescue Mission.
And also: Northwood Hockey Boosters, Prairie Harvest Mental Health, SCORE Grand Forks, Special Olympics North Dakota, St. Anne's Guest Home, Summer Performing Arts, Sunshine Memorial Foundation, The Salvation Army, The Village, Third Street Clinic, UND Alumni Association, UND Ceramics, Chester Fritz Auditorium, Valley Community Health Centers and Memorial Foundation.
