Myra Foundation announces $350,000 in award grants

The Myra Foundation has awarded $350,000 to 49 regional organizations for the year of 2017.

The Myra Foundation was established by John E. Myra of Emerado, N.D., in 1941 and is the oldest private charitable foundation in the state of North Dakota. Recipients of the grants are deemed to have a "charitable, character building and educational purpose."

The Myra Foundation is governed by a Board of Trustees including President John Botsford, Donna Gillig and Kent Cronquist. The Foundation has contributed a total exceeding $9.25 million to regional organizations since its inception.
