Moorhead Police received a report of a stabbing early today morning in the Regal Estates neighborhood of Moorhead.
Elijah Lacroix, 22, of Moorhead, received a stab wound in the abdomen. An acquaintance of Lacroix has been identified as a suspect.
Police received the report of aggravated assault at 2:52 a.m. from Meritcare Hospital. The assault occurred at 68 Mayfair, Regal Estates.
The investigation is "very active," and police are asking anyone with information about the crime to call (218) 299-5120.
