FARGO - Fargo police have arrested a Moorhead man in connection with an overnight robbery at a south Fargo pizza kitchen and an attempted robbery at Fargo's Holiday Inn.

The suspect was identified as Michael Thomas Wilson.

Sgt. Mark Lykken said a man walked into the Xtreme Pizza Kitchen at 1404 33rd St. S. about 10:32 p.m. Thursday and made small talk with a clerk before demanding money.

The man didn't display a weapon or say that he had a weapon, but his hand was in his pocket, Lykken said. The man made off with money from the till.

At 12:35 a.m. Friday, a man with a similar description entered the lobby of the Holiday Inn at 3803 13th Ave. S. and demanded money from the clerk. The clerk refused, and the man said he had hostages on the third floor. The man then left without getting any money, Lykken said.
