REGINA -- Police have canceled an Amber Alert saying a missing Saskatchewan girl, her mother and father have been found safe and sound in Regina.

Police issued the Amber alert on Tuesday at around noon saying they believed four-year-old Samantha Martyn and her mother, Natasha Sentes, had been taken by the girl's father, Christopher Alan Martyn, who was estranged from Sentes.

The search was intense and stretched into Manitoba, where the father and daughter were spotted at a gas station in a town southwest of Winnipeg.

At about 8 a.m. this morning, police say a relative contacted them to say that the three showed up at a Regina home.

Police say Samantha and her mother are in good health and Martyn has been taken into custody.
