MINOT, N.D. -- Minot police are still looking for a suspect in a convenience store robbery, while another man was arrested after an officer witnessed the robbery in progress.
According to Capt. John Klug, an officer pulled into the area of Rebel 1 Stop convenience store about 8:30 p.m. Monday night and saw the robbery going on.
He was able to take one of the two suspects into custody, but the other man fled the scene.

A police dog was called in to track the suspect, but the search was unsuccessful.
Klug said the other man was still at large as of late Tuesday night.
Arrested in the case for robbery was Christopher R. Olson, 20, of Tower City, N.D., who was taken to the Ward County Jail.
Klug said he believes the Monday night robbery may be connected to three other robberies over the weekend at convenience stores in Minot.
“We believe in some way they were, but at this point we only have one person in custody for last night’s robbery,” the captain said. “The others may take more time, but I'm confident we will also make arrests in those cases.”
In a Sunday night robbery, Klug said two males were also involved. They entered the Cenex convenience store at 205 20th Ave. SE about 7:30 p.m. and demanded money. They were both wearing hooded sweatshirts and face masks. The two suspects fled. No injuries were reported and an undisclosed amount of cash taken.
Although two men were involved in those two incidents, only one person was involved in a Friday night robbery at the Gas Stop on South Broadway. The suspect was wearing a tan coat and a ski mask. He fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash.
