Derek Ogorek rushed for 133 yards on 11 attempts and a touchdown to lead Kittson County Central to a 46-6 win over Northern Freeze in the Section 8 9-man football playoffs in Hallock, Minn.
Ethan Elfstrom ran eight times for 65 yards and two touchdowns for KCC.
"We weren't connecting on some of our pass routes, so we needed that rushing to get us going," KCC coach Terry Ogorek said. "Without that, the offense would have been stumbling for sure. A lot of it was done by rushing."
Elfstrom scored on 9- and 7-yard runs, Ogorek had a 5-yard score, Trevor Austin caught a 10-yard TD pass from Dylan Kent and Craig Lindegaard kicked a 16-yard field goal in the first half for a 31-0 halftime lead.
Austin had four receptions for 80 yards. Kent was 5-for-15 passing for 82 yards.

KCC scored twice in the second half, also on the ground. Tyler Berg ran 2 yards for a score and Donovan Kasprowicz had a 16-yard TD run.
Northern Freeze scored late in the game on an 80-yard run by Brady Reierson.
Kittson County Central improved to 7-1.
Stephen-Argyle 46, Sacred Heart 6: Brandon Sorenson rushed for 95 yards and a touchdown on only five carries to lead Stephen-Argyle over East Grand Forks Sacred Heart in Stephen, Minn.
Erik Aakre ran for one touchdown and returned an interception for another for the Storm.
Six different players scored for Stephen-Argyle, the longest being Aakre's 33-yard interception return. Sorenson's TD came on a 31-yarder and Evan Schindele and John Safranski had touchdown runs of 24 and 23 yards, respectively.
Matt Borowicz rushed for 72 yards on 13 attempts for Stephen-Argyle, which picked off Sacred Heart quarterback Nick Anderson three times.
Sacred Heart's lone score came in the second quarter on a 12-yard pass from Anderson to Cody Edwards.

Clearbrook-Gonvick 44, Climax-Fisher 20: Josiah Bennett rushed for 147 yards and two touchdowns to lead Clearbrook-Gonvick over Climax-Fisher in Clearbrook, Minn.
Brennan Bakke passed for 204 yards and two touchdowns for the Bears.
Bakke's 65-yard touchdown pass to DJ Shaver opened up the scoring for Clearbrook-Gonvick. The Bears scored 30 points in the second quarter.
Kiefer Prudhomme passed for one touchdown and rushed for another to pace Climax-Fisher.
