ESKO, Minn. -- A bomb threat caused Esko School to be evacuated Tuesday afternoon.

Law enforcement received a call around 12:25 p.m. about a written bomb threat found in the school. All teachers and students in kindergarten through 12th grade were forced to evacuate immediately to St. Matthews Church. They were all safe and accounted for.

Officials from Thomson Township, the Cloquet Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol, Carlton County Sheriff's Office, Esko Fire Department and FBI responded.

The Esko School buildings were closed until further notice. Bomb detection dogs were being used in the investigation.
