Minnesota foundation offers free paint

The Northwest Minnesota Foundation said it is again offering free paint for area community projects. Qualifying projects include restoration or repairs of historic structures, senior centers, facilities for the disabled, public buildings and murals.

Qualifying projects include restoration or repairs of historic structures, senior centers, facilities for the disabled, public buildings and murals. Denominational churches, city maintenance projects, private buildings and school projects, except murals, would not qualify.

The foundation said selection will be based on visual impact, benefits to the public, especially those in need, volunteer participation and intended use of the structure.
