A Republican candidate in Minnesota's gubernatorial race will be in Thief River Falls on Monday to discuss jobs and economic development.
Tom Emmer picked up the GOP endorsement earlier this year. He's running against Bob Carney Jr., Leslie Davis and Ole' Savior to win the party nomination in the Aug. 10 primary election.
Emmer will hold a meet and greet at Black Cat Sports Bar and Grill, 1080 Highway 32 S. in Thief River Falls. The event will be held at 6 p.m. Monday, July 26.
