THIEF RIVER FALLS - Pennington County Attorney Alan Rogalla has given himself a "mental deadline" of March 26 to decide whether to press charges against Red Lake Falls, Minn., Mayor Robert Philion.
Philion is accused of removing structural items from his home in Red Lake Falls after the house had been purchased by the state of Minnesota in a buyout program through the Small Cities Development Program.
The case is under investigation in Pennington County instead of Red Lake County to avoid conflicts of interest, officials said.
