BISMARCK - A May trial is set for a man charged in what has been described as the worst vandalism spree ever reported by owners of trailers and cabins at McKenzie Bay along Lake Sakakawea.

Clancey Lonefight, 19, of Mandaree, N.D., has pleaded not guilty to 20 felony counts, each punishable by up to five years in prison.

Lonefight is charged in a January 2006 rampage that left bloodied shattered glass and up to $100,000 in damage. Officials said nine cabins and a concession building were vandalized.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Rick Volk said Lonefight's trial is set for May 15 in federal court in Minot. Lonefight is charged with 10 counts of burglary and 10 counts of malicious destruction and injury to property. He has been released on bond.
