A Devils Lake man who pleaded guilty to sexually abusing a girl was sentenced Monday to 45 days behind bars and three years of supervised probation.
Jeffrey Urness, 51, admitted to touching the girl sexually when she was 5 years old, authorities said.
Urness' sentence was based on a plea agreement that, according to prosecutors, the victim's family had agreed to.
Urness was originally charged with continual sexual abuse of a child, but as part of the plea deal, he pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of gross sexual imposition.
