A man is being held in the Grand Forks County Correctional Center after being involved in a domestic disturbance in Grand Forks early Thursday morning.
Officers discovered that Scott Soli, 25, Grand Forks, had become suicidal and was armed with a handgun about 3 a.m. Officers made contact with Soli at the door of the apartment and heard him cycling the action of the shotgun, according to police.
Soli verbally threatened officers through the open apartment door. The Grand Forks Regional Special Operation Group was activated and was able to take Soli into custody without further incident, according to police.
Soli was arrested on charges of terrorizing and was transported to the Grand Forks County Correctional Center.
