A Dunseith, N.D., man accused of sexually assaulting a woman was sentenced Monday to 15 years in federal prison and 15 years of supervised release, the U.S. attorney's office said in a news release.
Primus Demery, 44, was ordered to pay $8,680 in restitution and register as a sex offender. A jury found Demery guilty Feb. 3.
The release says Demery, who had been drinking alcohol, walked from a Dunseith home to the victim's home and sexually assaulted her.
