HACKENSACK, Minn. --The Cass County Sheriff's Office reported a man died Tuesday of an apparent drowning in northern Minnesota.
According to a release from the sheriff's office, when deputies and responders arrived
at Ten Mile Lake in rural Hackensack about 5:19 p.m. Tuesday, people were performing CPR on the man on a residential dock. Deputies learned the group was swimming and the man went under the water for a period of time. The man was pulled from the water but could not be revived by emergency responders.
The Ramsey County Medical Examiner's Office is conducting an autopsy. The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of family members, the release said.
