MANDAREE, N.D. – A 41-year-old man died in a one-vehicle rollover Tuesday after he lost control of the vehicle about 8 miles northwest of Mandaree, the North Dakota Highway Patrol said.
The man was driving a 2003 Dodge Ram east on Highway 73 in McKenzie County when he crossed the fog line and drove onto the shoulder while negotiating a left-hand turn on a grade, the patrol said.
The driver attempted to correct the vehicle but lost control, rolling the vehicle in a ditch and striking a tree. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected, authorities said.
The man’s name has not yet been released.
